Unrelatedly, I did finish that song in aj, and it turned out pretty great. I should start selling songs since I'm bound to run out of saps otherwise, and then I can't export songs! :(.
Next song I'm planning is "Don't Dream It's Over" by Crowded House, and the beginning of the song that I finished a few days ago, instead of the end.
Also wow, doing this has made me better at reading sheet music! I can actually read it now (before, I knew some common note durations, but not really if it was a C or A, etc). Of course, I couldn't have done it without my primary school music teacher. Thanks, teacher!
(Also thanks high school music teacher, I'd probably forget more than I did if it wasn't for you.)
Oh nvm it's still not working, Might have to uninstall & reinstall after all. No problem if so.
My bootable usb wasn't booting, so I thought I would have to uninstall and reinstall everything. But then when I went to uninstall, I realised that partition one didn't have the boot or esp flags? So I reflagged it and went to boot again, and it worked perfectly?
I'm glad, but I'm so confused how it got unflagged in the first place. It has been a while since I used it, but surely I would remember unflagging it...?
Was doing a song in animal jam and lost connection to the server before I saved 💀.
Well hey at least we fixed the wifi today. So I don't have to worry about "wasting" my mobile data with unsaved work.
Maaan I don't want to redo the song. But I do like it, and it's a gift for my sibling, so I'll get back to it eventually. Not today though, since I was finished working on it for tonight anyways.
One reason I don't want my siblings on my website is that I'm actively speculating on them 😭. Literally back when I made that post, I was thinking about talking about how my sibling could be trans.
I should put like a "siblings stay away" banner on ny homepage or smth oml.
— Content Warning: discussion of potential misgendering & deadnaming —
(*thinks about my sibling that seems to refer to themself with neutrally gendered language and also gendered me correctly that one time while seeming to avoid gendering me now*)
(Well obviously I don't know if they're trans, but even if they are, it could be dangerous to uncomfortable for them for attention to be drawn to their gender by being exclusively referred to with neutral language, despite the fact that they never asked to be.
Definitely couldn't straight up ask them if they're trans, either, since that's the kind of disclosure they should make on their own terms, if they want to disclose anything.)
"She—" (Of course there are still small mercies you can make while still gendering someone as their currently presented gender. Perhaps they'd prefer to be called their name as opposed to 'she') "—[Name]—" (Okay well you don't know that, and if they did have a preference, you've said both so you would've called them their least favourite one. Also being misgendered and deadnamed (if it is that in this case) is worse than just being called one of those things. Real one-two punch.)
"—Threw me out of the room in the game :(."
Made some chicken soup tonight, and unlike the first time, this one was very good. First try, too! :)
My siblings could theoretically find my blog… unnerving!
